Heading in the RIGHT Direction
West Virginia just passed the English Bill which declares English as its official language. Can I just say way to go West Virginia. Glad to see at least one state gets it. Hopefully more states will follow and we can get rid of this billingual education junk. Hopefully we can get something similar passed in KY. Florida has a bill on the table that allows you to carry concealed weapons, and if u believe your life is being threaten, you are allowed to pre-emptively protect yourself. Texas has a cool law to, your property now extends to the curb which means if you look out your bedroom window, and see someone break into your car, you can shoot them bc it is seen as endangering your home. Its about time we were allowed to defend ourselves without being shot ourselves. C'mon Kentucky we need to get on the ball and get some nice laws like this. And in just 3 months I will finally turn 21 and be able to get my own weapons permitt :) then once I graduate I will buy my own gun.

i just found 2 posts that i had completely missed, that was weird...but your taco bell story is crazy. that must have been what you were talking about last night, i had no idea.
and i dont know who anonymous is...i love you keg, but kind of agree! lol:) my mom wants a gun too "for defense purposes"...and i'm betting one day that me being late for curfew will justify "Defense" :X
Katie your mom would never should you bc if she did then who would she live vicariusly through? And I wouldn't either. Truth is I wouldn't carry the gun on me unless I was traveling a long distance. The gun would be hidden somewhere easily accesible to me. Though if I get married and have children, there will be no gun that the kids know of. One important characteristic of me as a gun owner, I have a extremely high value of human life..even liberals ;). I wouldn't shoot anyone just to shoot them. I would have to feel as though my life is in danger. I will say this though, if someone breaks into my house and I have a gun I will shoot to kill. No way I am gonna just wound the scum bag so he can come back and sue me. With today's court system, he's win.

LOl that makes two of us...but what can I say, I was educated in Kentucky...can't expect much more
